Second cook

We are looking for a versatile 2nd cook to join our brigade. Under the supervision of the executive chef, you will be responsible for:
  • Preparing the culinary bases (setting up vegetables, sauces, marinades) according to recipes and quality standards.

  • Finishing dishes while respecting the defined presentations and accompaniments.

  • Setting up cold and hot buffets while ensuring an aesthetic and practical organization.

  • Serving at the station and collaborating with the service team for the distribution of meals.

  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment in compliance with MAPAQ standards.

Desired profile:

  • Significant experience kitchens, ideally in a similar establishment.

  • Mastery of basic culinary techniques and variety of cuisines.

  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.

  • MAPAQ certification (an asset).

  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, superiors and customers.

  • Flexibility: Availability to work according to the needs of the department (variable hours, holidays).

  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

  • Problem solving: Ability to manage stressful situations and find solutions quickly.

  • In possession of valid work permit.
