Second cook
We are looking for a versatile 2nd cook to join our brigade. Under the supervision of the executive chef, you will be responsible for:
Preparing the culinary bases (setting up vegetables, sauces, marinades) according to recipes and quality standards.
Finishing dishes while respecting the defined presentations and accompaniments.
Setting up cold and hot buffets while ensuring an aesthetic and practical organization.
Serving at the station and collaborating with the service team for the distribution of meals.
Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment in compliance with MAPAQ standards.
Desired profile:
Significant experience kitchens, ideally in a similar establishment.
Mastery of basic culinary techniques and variety of cuisines.
Organizational skills and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
MAPAQ certification (an asset).
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, superiors and customers.
Flexibility: Availability to work according to the needs of the department (variable hours, holidays).
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Problem solving: Ability to manage stressful situations and find solutions quickly.
In possession of valid work permit.
